I have set up this blog to document my thoughts and learnings about Nutrition & Medicine. I am doing a Naturopathic Nutrition diploma and over the next three years I shall post up study notes and information I pick up along the way. I hope you can find some useful information for whatever your purposes. I shall endeavour to link through to as many different information resources as possible so this site is at least a good starting point for your information needs.
This year I am doing the Medicine Study year, so the content will be mainly around Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
If you have any tips/comments/questions feel free to email me.
Try the quick search below to find the information you're looking for:

#1.Great.Keep up the good work. There are FAR FAR too few young people going into this field.Thank you. #2.You sound like a young professional. Is there no way to EDIT OUT some of the above dorks’ comments? Such a waste of your time, mine, and the human race in general. Ugh.
Thank you for this… I feel that science is becoming a lost art due to the laziness of our newest generation. I actually learned a lot more from your one post than most kids will learn in a whole year!
A wonderful diagram!Very easy to explain to my daughter, she is 12 and has many questions about her body. One of the best websites I have found.Thank you.

I’m the webmaster at an academic medical center and we’d like to use your diagram of the digestive system on our gastroentrology page. Is this copyrighted? Or is it ok to use with your permission. Thanks.
This is a great diagram of the digestive system. I am a CERTIFIED HOLISTIC HEALTH COUNSELOR/AADP and Certified Reflexlogist. I’ve been learning about all the systems- especially the Digestive System. I hope those people who posted immature, un-necessary, crude comments, stop posting those unwanted words. Can you show some diagrams and reports on the Endocrine, Respiratory, and Lymphatic Systems? I could use that for my current work. Keep up the great work and I hope you complete your program successfully.
i enjoyed your site. i am in the first semester of the LPN and we are doing the digestive system…and how it works…great picture. thank you for the help.
This diagram is extemely useful for learning about the digestive system.
However, the buccal cavity and pharynx musy be included in the diagram, food which has been injested obvioulsy must pass through the buccal cavity and pharynx before leading into the oesophagus.
And at Paul Rozycki; ‘The Spleen isnt part of the digestive system, more endocrine then anything i think, but i know for sure it is not, Proffesors words’
The spleen is part of the lymphatic system. One of its role is in immunity where it absorbs iron in the blood which bacteria need to grow.
